Y96 95.9 WQZY Beats 99.1 WDBN! Tell me I'm wrong.

Wow Y96 sounds great, they've got every day part staffed with a great line up, the new imaging with a female voice is great, and the music is spot on! They are putting Macon's 99.1 WDBN to shame, they sound tired, liner diven mid-days plus.... If clear channel ever moves the 95.9 translator out of Bon-Air then WDBN would likely lose 3 to 4 points!

Don't agree, listen to Y96 and then tell me why I'm wrong.

WQZY in no way shape or form sounds better than WDEN. I am sorry to upset you my friend. I do not really listen to WDEN much because of the signal not being very good in Dublin. But if I have been closer to there tower and was about the same distance between WDEN and WQZY. WDEN sounds way better. I personally like both stations. I read somewhere on this forum that the company that owns WDEN also on 96.5 in Macon and this company put up a translater on 95.9. Was that to block WQZY? I do disagree with them doing that and I feel WQZY should take legal action. Last year State Broadcasting put up a translator on 96.9 for there AM station 1330. Maybe they should fight fire with fire and move it to 99.1 just saying.
 
Ok, I'm wrong.... please explain why? WDEN mornig show sounds tired and old, you know Cumulus people are not happy or felling secure about their jobs and it comes across on the air. Y96 morning show with Lea & Joe is hot topical and fun plus fresh. WEDN is just liner drive mid-days WQZY is live and also has the all request lunch. WDEN Voice Tracked in PM drive, Y96 is live with well known veteran Chuck Wallace and has a great drive home show. Y96 facebook http://www.facebook.com/pages/Y96-Hot-Country-Hits/123990500981352 has almost 5500 fans, WDEN has about 3000 fans.. As far as contesting goes Y96 wins for sure there... Just did What's in Santa's sack gave away bunch of prizes including 4 vacations to various fun spots in the south east. Fall book did the born to win $96,000 cash bash... Plus, Plus, Plus! Help us to understand just how WDEN is a better station? I mean today not 5 or 10 years ago. ???
