Don't know about plans for a studio move, but they did get approval to increase their antenna height. No change in the tower location, but a pretty good boost in their coverage. Still a rimshot, though.

They cannot move any closer to provide a better signal. The
FCC minimum spacing rules for 2nd and 3rd-adjacent FMs won't
allow it. KMMY is 2nd-adjacent to KMOD 97.5; KMMY must be
at least 63 miles away from KMOD's tower. Since KMOD's tower
is just to the WNW of Tulsa, KMMY is restricted from getting
very close to Tulsa. KVSP 103.5 Anadarko has the same problem
trying to target OKC -- tower is well away since it is 3rd-
adjacent to KMGL 104.1. Same problem all those south OK/north TX
FMs that rimshoot Dallas/Fort Worth; they are well NW or N of Dallas
by over 50 miles because of spacing rules to the original D/FW
FMs located in Cedar Hill TX (14 miles SSW of downtown Dallas).

The minimum spacing for all FM classes are on the FCC website:

No, Y97 will not move to Tulsa. It is a Muskogee radio station - although the studio is located on the same floor as KXOJ in the CityPlex Towers. The station sounds like a Tulsa station because of the big market caliber on-air.

Look for some line-up changes coming in '06!!!
