Curious if the Diamondbacks moved tonight's start time from 6:40 to 7:10 at
the behest of ESPN? You'd think the "Eastern Sports Programming Network"
(thanks, Keith!) would be apoplectic over a 10:10 ET start time for a game
featuring the Yankees :eek: and would have insisted demanded that the D'backs
move it to 5:40 or even 5:10 PT.

Also curious that the ESPN feed is being carried by Cox Cable, and not blacked out.
Does FSNAZ not have local market exclusivity on Mondays and Wednesdays vs. ESPN,
at least for home games?

BTW, ESPN is about :02 ahead of FSNAZ on Cox analog, which is surprising since FSN
should be a fiber-optic feed to the Cox head-end, while ESPN backhauls on the bird to
Bristol, CT, then back out on the bird again to the cable systems.

Thanks. but I claim copyright only for Eastern Seaboard Partisan Network and Epstein's and Steinbrenner's Personal Network. My agents, Dewey, Cheatem, and Howe, handle negotiations for royalty payments. ;D
 
Are Dewey, Cheatem and Howe the same bunch of ambulance chasers
who litigate on behalf of Dr. Akbar over the term Ancient Modulation? :D

The WWL can demand MNB games be shown in-market as many as three times per year. Wednesdays are still pure blackout-city, though, while Sundays are ESPN-exclusive.

Nah, I think he uses that "It's about time!" guy who looks like Dagwood.

But right now he's handling Doc/Nurse's dispute with The Men in Secret Underwear over the ownership of The Men in Secret Underwear. :D
 
Totally off topic, but continuing the ambulance chasers theme...

Here, we have Lerner & Rowe (the way to go)...in Vegas, Lerner is by himself. Did Rowe give up the Vegas franchise? :D
