I know that the Red Sox are moving across town this season to WEEI. Has anyone heard about the Yankee broadcast? I know rumors were floating around about WPRO picking it up but I have a hard time believing that rumor. It seems that everyone bashes the Yankees constantly especially Ron St. Pierre. Just wondering if I will have to shell out the cash for the MLB TV or the radio package online.

Saw on the Score web page today that the games are still going to be on 99.7, while 790AM will be the flagship for the Pawtucket Red Sox.

Ok, My headings a joke but I was sort of hoping they would have gone WPRO. I kind of figured they wer'nt.
I guess they will just concentrate on talk on WPRO. leaving Yankees to WSKO.What does the Score really have to offer besides games.

Thanks!

Thanks everyone! Good to know I won't have to be tied to my internet connection to listen to the games!

Re: Yankees On Radio

Wouldn't Yankees' flagship WCBS-880 deliver a halfway-decent signal to Rhode Island during daylight hours, especially in Providence and points south??

A couple of years back, I was driving back to my home near Boston from a vacation in Atlantic City, during daylight hours, and I got a very good signal from WCBS-AM on my car radio as far north as Providence, and a halfway-decent signal all the way back to my home (And no, it wasn't during a Yankees' game. I was listening on a busy news day).
