YAWN! - Sure is quiet here in W. Texas.

Other than Mix dropping Alan Kabel on Monday, it sure is quiet here in Lubbock. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there's been a real market adjustment here since 104.9 came on the air, and that was a couple of years ago.

Things sure move slow around here!

HEY! The latino radio market has gone through alot...and it's exciting. What no love for 97.3 or 95.5?

You are right! I had forgotten about those. 97.3 might have been before 104-9, but 95-5 is something! I guess because I can't understand espanol, I inadvertantly excused those. Sorry, it was mental block (I need spanish lessons).

Let me rephrase what I originally wrote:
I don't think there's been a market adjustment among the english format stations since 104-9 came on the air...

On Monday night I heard a female dj, but didn't catch her name. She's also been on various weekend shifts also.
I want to stress that I don't know if Mix dropped Alan permanently of it it was just for that one night. I haven't had a chance to listen since.

She was good though!

whatever! I heard her lastnight. I wasn't impressed. Have you ever heard a deejay on the air and thought that they just don't fit the format of the station? Any names?

I'll try to listen tonight and see if I can pin this one down (unless someone from there can tell us).

While were on the topic of Lubbock Radio, did anyone notice that Kool 98 has some reverb now, and they are having the 70s show with Chalie Tuna moving over from Stars?

KFYO dropped Paul Harvey this week. They are still running ABC News.

> According to the recent rating's, no, not too much love for the Lation radio in Lubbock. The Hispanic stations had terrible books.
