Yeahhh....Santa's come to snuff the Rooster.....

as far as I know there were no jocks....so no bloodbatch like in other CC markets...at least not yet....stay tuned...lol
 
I wonder who is manning the commercials (probably the PD)

One time, our local 107.3 did this and then switched to a "my" format. (WYCL)

The only way for me to stay tuned is by their website or the jax node. it's an entirely different 93.3 here (which still has jocks)

Well you couldnt or you would know that they are only live in the mornings and afternoons the rest is VT/syndicated

The only stations that are live all the time in FWB are 99 rock...Fly 92 and possibly z96 but the mids sound canned on Z

VT means Voice Tracked... which means they are pre-recorded elsewhere and made to sound live and local to the average listener.

believe it or not...some VT'ers actually put effort into it...and when that happens,
you can NOT tell if it's a VT or live.
the rip-and-readers are easy to identify.

Robs right as usual. Everybody VT's now, even if it's live.

Yeah, when I have to VT, which i try not to, i put phone calls into the track, just to make it sound a little extra live. Its really hard to tell, the other day, i thought I was actually in the studio.
 
Why I enjoyed KPIG (while it was still on the net) live, local DJs VT is a station's friend.
