Yes.com is no more

Not Columbus specific of course, but I see that Yes.com is gone.  It redirects to Rew.com, which has the message:

"We have discontinued YES.com to focus on our business customers and apologize for any inconvenience!"  Then it says to email them if you're interested in their "real-time now playing feed for two thousand of the nation's top terrestrial and online radio stations through a simple HTTP POST API."

Sorry to see it go, especially since station websites that used to have lengthy song-history lists seem to be moving toward showing strictly the last 10 played.

Even last week, when I consulted yes.com, it seemed to have had very little info on recently-played songs on stations. As a DXer, even though I myself couldn't positively ID a station via yes.com just via songs-played, it kinda gave me a feel for what I might have heard.

yes.com went down hill a while ago... I miss the days stations posted full at least 24 hour playlists online.. SAGA used to do this (Mix 107.9, Sunny 95) but now even only show the last like 3 songs playing.

24 hours of playlist makes it way to easy to break down a stations format...I am surprised anyone thought this was a good idea in the first place, (current folks excepted! LOL)

CC actually provides a full playlist for the week, ranked by number of plays (I believe), on all of their medium/major market music station websites.  You just don't know when each song played.  Also, 24-hour monitors are still available for purchase from Mediabase and BDS, so if a competitor (or potential competitor) wants the info it's still readily available (for a price).
