Yes.com Playlists: KOST Goes All-Christmas

KOST-103.5 has gone all-Christmas, according to the playlists published on Yes.com. They took the plunge at about 8:05 A.M. PST this morning (November 18th).

And based on that playlist, it's a little interesting how they did it.

The last song before the flip was Chicago's "Does Anybody rally Know What Time It Is?". The song that launched the Christmas sounds was Percy Faith's "We Need A Little Christmas".

Actually, it could have been done even more creatively. The first Christmas song could have been "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year", and could have answered the question posed by the title of the last song before the flip.

Obviously, they wanted to be in all 4 weeks of Phase III of the Fall book.

It seems YES.com skipped a song. Barry Manalow's medley of The Holiday Season/White Christmas came before "We Need A Little Christmas", but I also noticed being in the car at the time, that first song didn't show up on the song ID display.

Re: And KFSH too

They're playing all Christmas right now, I'm not sure if it's just the weekend or if they actually decided this year to go all XMAS.
