Yet Another Adobe Audition Question

I've been using OTS Turntables and a mic through my mixing board into Adobe Audition to record shows for an internet radio station. Is there a way to use the compression/eq function of Audition while recording live? Is there a setting I have to use before I start to record? Thanks!<P ID="signature">______________

Audition will not apply effects while you record. There are a few programs (though none are coming to mind) that will allow you to apply a VST effect at the time of recording. That's not really a good idea, though. Once you've destructively added ompression and 'verb at the time of recording, you're kind of stuck.
