I used to listen to Starrock on WNNN every Sat. with Alan Wenzel. It was one of the most creative & professional shows I have ever heard. It ministered, was funny, and played what no one else did. I am sorry to hear that it is no longer on.
Starrock was appointment listening for me on Saturday nights from Cherry Hill. With the Probe 9 antenna and a rotator, I was able to tune WNNN in clearly if a bit off frequency due to NJ 101.5. Since WNNN was in mono, the sound quality didn't suffer. I still have a VHS Hi Fi recording of the last Star Rock on FM somewhere. I knew they wouldn't last long on the AM in the middle of the afternoon before sign-off, and they didn't. I have quite a few CDs in my collection thanks to that show. Never would have heard that stuff anywhere else.
