Last week (before this message board was so rudely interrupted and several days worth of posts were lost) I mentioned hearing a new pirate on 91.3. Well, whoever it is, this guy is really brazen. I still haven't figured out his location, but he seems to be particularly strong in the Norristown - King of Prussia area. Yesterday I carried him spottily from Plymouth Meeting to almost Collegeville along the Schuykill and Rt 422. Today, on my way home from work, I drove Ridge Pike to DeKalb Pike to Germantown to North Wales Road and was able to listen fairly cleanly from the Blue Route to Skippack Pike. So, he's definitely running some power, or is very high, or both.
The station is called either WBDX or WBTX and uses the slogan "Oldies 91.3". Mostly late 60s and 70s today, but I've heard him go back to the 50s and as late as the 80s.
With that much coverage, I wonder how long it will take the FCC to find him?
