Yet Another TV Show Based On Radio Coming Soon...

Many a pilot never makes it, so "Coming soon" is hardly a sure bet.

Well, in the event it isn't sold, it could be "coming soon" to purgatory... ::)

Borrowing a line from Chris Rock: "Grand opening, grand closing!" ;D

Looks like a "five-episode wonder"...

Like any other TV series, the script will live or die by exploring parallel storylines dealing with it's character's personal lives, as well as their professional lives in the studio. Both Frasier and WKRP explored the dynamics and behavior of each show's main characters, both inside and ouside their radio stations.

...while "Hello Larry"'s main downfall was that it explored the dynamics and behavior of the main characters, but only outside the radio station, and they never got to be interesting... ;D

Shallow, clueless script writing, I'm sure. But memories still fresh of McLane Stephenson's earlier signature role as the hapless, bumbling colonel on M*A*S*H may have bogged him down on ... HELLO LARRY. I intentionally omitted this show from my 1st contribution, wondering if anybody would even remember it!
