Yikes…97.1 😱

So wait. Audacy is soon simulcasting their sports stations on Sirius XM and 97.1 the fan (yikes 97.1) isn’t one of them…

That's not what it says.

Let's annotate:

Audacy’s 23 Sports stations will debut on SiriusXM’s platform on September 1, with nineteen News and Talk stations to follow later this year. Eight Sports stations will be available to satellite subscribers: WFAN New York, WSCR Chicago, KRLD-FM Dallas, KGMZ San Francisco, WIP Philadelphia, WEEI Boston, WXYT-FM Detroit, KDKA-FM Pittsburgh, and WKRK-FM Cleveland. The remainder will be made available on the SiriusXM app and in vehicles with the service’s 360L platform.

So---eight on SiriusXM on September 1 and the other 15 via the app and on vehicles with 360L.

Sorry to do this to you, pardner, but I am an engineer and just can't help myself.

Care to count those eight stations again?

You’re not doing it to me. That was cut-and-paste. RadioInsight wrote it (and has already corrected their copy to “nine”).

And that means the other fourteen stations will be on 360L, including Yikes 97.1.
