YODA TO LEAVE 97X/PANAMA CITY

All Access is reporting that 97X's Yoda is leaving after ten years to go into TV.
 
No no say it ain't so, he's really good and we won't get to hear those liners anymore. Things must be really bad if Yoda's bailing. Thanks for the info panhandler. Man, I'm going to miss Yoda. Never knew what club you might run into him in with that mask cocked up on his head. Good guy, wish him the best in TVland.

We should make the next Family guy episode about Yoda, see what I can do! Hey maybe that's where he going. I may see him a whole lot!
 
.....All that have departed from Magic Broadcasting have been people who where part of the OLD company (minus one who made a mistake that cost a job).... As we rebuild the company and fix what was broken there is sometimes the need to remove broken elements and that is just what has been done both here in PC and in our other markets.

As the former PD put it in March (above) looks like they are right on task with their plan. Yoda will be missed. He had a great following and was a fixture of that radio station. It's really sad that the entire cluster has been wiped clean. They are starting over, and with new "managers" from larger markets.

I thought that when you left a market you were supposed to go to a larger market?
Oh, right that's if you can get a job in a larger market....

Yoda is a great guy.....It is sad to see someone leave after 10 yrs of loyalty to not one not two but several owners and GM's and PD's. I hate to see you go Yoda...at least it is back home and not just some next stop on the radio trail. Best of luck to you ......(XXXX) and the TV station is getting a great guy... DADDY!
