Best freaking line to ever come out of Yorke's Mouth. Now I'm a fan again. I was on my way home from the market today. I tuned in to hear Dan and Matt talking about Fireworks. Here is what I heard when I tuned in.
Matt says:
Did you ever light off fireworks. It's so much fun.
Dan says:
No. I've never done that.
Matt says:
You've never lit of one of those bottle rockets that is shaped like a toilet paper tube?
3 seconds of silence
Dan taps on the console three times and says:
Is the Radio working. I said No I've never done that.
Matt says:
You've never done that in your life? You've never lit off any kind of Fireworks.
3 more seconds of silence
Dan says:
Are you Calling me a F A G?
LMAO!!!! It just sounded so funny. Now this is the type of Radio that I love. Two guys in a room by themselves having a REAL conversation. No Politics and No BS. Just a straight forward honest conversation about Life. This is the secret to Stern's success. If Dan's show was like this all the time I would tune in every day!
I just had to give Matt and Dan Kudos for cracking me up. Friday Shows are by far the best of the week. Those two truly make a great team. There is great chemistry between them. I hope that WPRO management realizes this. They've got something really good there. Awsome!!!
