You asked for it...Thunder now on 106.3 & 5

LOL. Well don't I look silly now. Of course I defended my station at the time, but looking at it now 7 months later...whoops. ;D

My bet is that Hit *was* making more money than G. Just not nearly enough.

Which is to say that Press' next move is to man the lifeboats.

/that's a lotta money they bought those signals for...

Hey...at least you defended the station & those who worked at it!

Hope you land on your feet quickly....and for more appreciative employers.

Now there was hype in that board, but wondering why no one is excited that the proposal came true?

I'm extremely excited. I have been waiting for a country station around here since Y-107 went off the air. I get a great signal from 106.3 up here in Essex county.

HAHA, I'll tell you one thing, it will feel awkward hearing Country in an extreme urban area like Newark and Brooklyn, but at least one format hole is being filled.

Am I the only one that thinks the 99.1 signal would be perfect for country? Since the signal covers a good amount of Northern and Central Jersey?

This station is very upbeat and sounds very country!Thunder 106 is awesome, just wish they add some coverage to Northern NJ,Im up in Clifton and cant hear it except for on my computer's webstream.99.1 or any slot would be nice.

Thunder reminds me of 98.1 The Hawk in Binghamton, NY. It still feels awkward sampling this station driving around the urban areas of Union County ;D

I listen to Thunder on my commute home from Springfiled. Its sold in Springfield, Millburn, & West Orange. It comes in fuzzy in many parts of Verona and I completely lose it in Cedar Grove, Montclair, Little Falls & Clifton. But, its still nice to hear some country areound here. Its a nice change of pace.

I find that it comes in pretty fuzzy in my car when driving through West Orange, especially along Eagle Rock Ave. Once I go west of Pleasant Valley Way I pretty much lose it completely and start picking up WHCY. But it comes in perfect on my home stereo in West Orange, and I have gotten it in Cedar Grove along Ridge Rd., but it's still pretty fuzzy. The hills kill the signal in this area. I have picked up Thunder as far north as Paramus (Garden State Plaza area), but quite fuzzy.

On the other side of Essex County, it comes in fuzzy and battles with WFAF in towns such as Nutley, Bloomfield, Glen Ridge, etc. Talk about a crowded frequency!
