You Tube/SESAC dispute - Moved

Not surprising. SESAC has always been the most aggressive of performance rights violations. That is part of the reason why artists like Bob Dylan and Neil Diamond moved their catalogs there from BMI.

SESAC has been known to go after radio stations for playing just one song without a license; that has been happening less and less as stations have become aware that songs they need to play because of audience preferences are SESAC licensed. (In my case, the key such song is "Red Red Wine" by UB40.)
