Dick Purtan-WXYZ, CKLW, WCZY...especially his years with Tom Ryan as backup
and somebody few in this area would know...
Scott "Scooter" Segraves-KAKC Tulsa in late 60s-early 70s...he's kinda like Arkansas' answer to George Carlin...I worked with him at WNOE-New Orleans in the mid 70s. He does an act he refers to as "stream of subconsciousness", which, in itself, tells you a lot about this guy. Still sounds great in his hometown of Harrison, Arkansas.
