Sorry, but thats the truth!! Yeah yeah I know Al Caldwell but he is a talker...and I dont put him in the Jock category anymore (even though he does a shift, likely voicetracked, on 92.5...HELLO CC??? FIX the &$%@*%$(^ audio there!)

Personality radio in the triangle is dead. As for 92.5, it sounds like an AM radio on FM. We had friends visiting recently and the radio was on 92.5 (I didn't do it!) and one of them commented that I didn't have the station "tuned in". I replied that the station was tuned in, just horrible audio quality as usual.

South East Texas is mostly the Houston area so without Houston there is noyhing to pick from

Yeah, decades ago, there WAS Gordon Baxter, Al Caldwell on KAYC, Chris Baker (now in OK City @ KATT, NOT the Chris Baker in Houston), and a few others like Rex Russell and others on KOLE, KAYC and KWIC when they were top40...
but as for jocks in the GT now?? Forget it!!! Only name I could come up with (besides Al and Neil Harrison..who is not a jock anymore like he was on KOLE and KAYC but part time news on KLVI) would be Mike Lout on KJAS in Jasper...and only because I known him for a while (and SOME of it was fun! :) ......

92.5 sux more and more; friends of mine who listen to it have finally noticed it (Bob Orban warns of such audio fatigue when processing to the max..someone needs to read the manual at 92.5) Also have you noticed on KLVI, there is a SLIGHT hum on the audio AND other audio WELL below the program audio...sounds like another station's audio but the audio does not match up with any of the other CC stations...at least when I can check. Listen when there is silence on LVI and you can hear it WAY in the background...THAT to me is ridiculous...and should not be there...but it IS CC...what can you expect?

I have also heard rumors that CC (or the new owners) MAY be looking at dumping more stations than they originally told the SEC.....(most of them in the 100 and lower markets)....now I hear rumors market 75-100 may be included and those in 100 down who were NOT listed for sale originally may eventually go as well......(could this include BPT ?? time will tell)
