Speaking of "Feel Good, Inc", the much vaunted Z-100 here in NYC accorded it a paltry two to three weeks of airplay! The Z-100 of my youth (middle and late 80's), if I recall correctly, would have devoted many more spins to a record of such high caliber!

Sadly no, but it did get a good bit of attention from CHRs in Europe, especially in Scotland. I think Beat 106 Scotland (which is changing its name to X-FM in a few days) still has it in rotation:

Beat 106 is changing, I really hate to hear that. Are they going full blown alternative now, they have been leaning that way, and cutting back on the Dance and Urban for a while now?

I'm not sure if Beat 106 will bail on the CHR format altogether, but it looks like they'll continue to lean on Modern Rock. Sort of like Z-100 and 104 KRBE back in 93 and 94, when they played on Modern Rock, but still were CHR/Pop stations. Both stations briefly became almost entirely Modern Rockers in 95 (KRBE even leaned more on a Modern/AC sound), but returned to their CHR roots the following year.

Beat 106 serves central Scotland, and can be picked up loud and clear in both Edinburgh and Glasgow (Scotland's biggest cities). Both cities have heritage CHRs, but I'm not sure if either city has a Modern Rock outlet.
