There was a disc jockey (I'm not joking; I believe he had also been on WRLT) when WWTN first came on the air as WWTN (Teddy Bart, George Plaster, Stpehen W. Bridgewater, etc) middays who played songs with a theme, such as "house/home" or played the history of songs, such as "Peter Gunn Theme" and "Stagger (Stack-o) Lee".

Does this ring a bell with anyone? Did I dream this?

I slightly remember this also, but I too do not recall much about this. In the early days of WWTN, there was an early afternoon sports show (I believe 2-4 PM)and a pre-Dave Ramsey money show. I do not recall the host name but I do recall buying a book which he either wrote or co-wrote I think it was called "Post Cards of Life" or something like that. Okay it wasn't a book as much as a collection of cleaver observation just brief enough to put on a postcard. Does anyone remember this host name?

Was it H. Jackson Brown? I seem to remember thatname poping up on alot of the talk radio shows, not just on WTN but also on WLAC. Les Jameson also used to quote from this book and it seemed as he credited the quote to H. Jackson Brown. As far as the pre-Dave Ramsey money show, the original "Money Game", had a series of rotating host, consisting of Dave Ramsey, Roy Matlock and Hal Wilson. Some days, two of three would co-host while on other days, it would be just one of the three.

The name of the daily money show was Matters of Life and Debt. The hosts name was Michael Tomblan.
