Your new #1 Hit Music Station

Wild 101 has a new web site, with a new slogan "Your new #1 Hit Music Station". Looks like Dave Universal is going after Kiss 98.5 "WNY's #1 Hit Music Station". This could get interesting!

Only if they have a lot of money to spend on promotion, and establish some kind of presence in Buffalo - which will be problematic considering their past problems with CRTC.

Their split from Citadel effectively ended any chance for them to impact the Buffalo market. Without local support, they're toast.

I doubt they'll attract the Buffalo ear all that much, but as I've mentioned before, they may steal alot of the Niagara reigon ear on *both* the American and Canadian side.
The more people in Niagara falls USA and Canada that listen to them instead of WKSE, the better it is for Wild 101. <P ID="signature">______________

HEY? Is billboard advertising enough?
Wild seems to be doing an awful lot of that in/near Buffalo area!
