Your Radio only gets TWO stations. Which ones do you want?

Yep... That's all. Only two. Here is my pick.

630 WPRO. King of Talk, News and Information. Can't dispute that fact. They are damn useful~!

95.5 WBRU. My favorite station on the dial. I don't care if it's a bunch of college kids. The music kicks ass!

If we're talking radio stations that broadcast within the borders of Rhode Island...

95.5 WBRU--which I agree with Sky that it's currently the best music station in RI, even though they always seem to be running 5-10 minutes behind schedule. But I don't mind the 9 O'Clock News starting at 9:10.

102.7 WRNI--Gotta have NPR on, and I'm liking that WRNI seems to be gaining presence in the state.

If we're talking all radio stations--

102.7 WEQX/Manchester, VT--Best alternative station, hands down.

88.9 WERS/Boston. Emerson College eclectic-rock station.

Yeah... when I posed the question I was just talking about stations in this liittle state. I could pick out ones I like better in other states too. I was just focusing on Rhode island in this post though.

I really only need WCTK. If I had to choose another it would be WPRO, but more for news & info than talk. If I didn't have XM I might answer differently, but I do so I won't.

I'm in full agreement with Skynet on this one, WPRO-AM and WBRU.

I wish I could substitute WRNI for WPRO-AM, but, I don't feel they have the local news staff that compares. WBRU continues to be the only commercial station in RI that's interesting to listen to.

94.1 HJY :) I don't live in RI anymore, but whenever I come to town, that is the station I listen to. I also love WBRU! I agree that even though it is a college station, I love the music!
