Welp, September 1 has come and gone, and 104.1 is still simulcasting the Ticket and the local hosts are still on 103.3. Has the deal for 104.1 been finalized or are there still more shoes to drop?

Spoke too soon maybe ... 104.1 went off the air in the last hour or so.
Sorry about the false alarm. Just an odd time for them to go dark. Must've been maintenance.
Just announced on Muse in the News that 104.1 goes away at midnight on Sunday. The Ticket will be FM-less for now, which will suck.

By "goes away" does that mean a new format will appear or is the transmitter being turned off until new ownership is in place?

Or Cumulus turns in the license, resulting in Sanger losing its service. According to a report I read, that is being strongly considered if they don't find a buyer for KTDK.
104.1 still simulcasting. So who knows. I'll just wait until I wake up one morning and Hot Polka FM is on.
Even with the limited signal on 104.1, someone will want it. Might be off the air temporarily, but there will be a new owner with new programming. The signal still covers some desirable demographics on the north side of the Metroplex.
Agreed. 104.1 is a dog but someone will want it as a Denton/Collin focused signal or it could be a decent tuck-in simulcast with another station. 660? Would be mostly complimentary with 92.1 in Farmersville (or 92.1 in Glen Rose for that matter). Univision can have one more FM and it could be combined with 107.1. It does have some value, just not as a DFW signal by itself.
