LOL at KPRi "The Sound" because I wouldn't be surprised since PD Haley Jones came to KPRi from LA's 100.3 The Sound. Notice she's added features that The Sound has like Album Sides Wednesday

Why two reggaetón formats when there is not a single successful reggaetón station in the continental US?

And Spanish language AC was on 102.9 for years, and was only moderately successful.

On the other hand, the 12+ Spanish language leader, although in a virtual 12+ tie when averaged over time, is KLQV's Recuerdo adult hits format... which you would drop.

93.3- 93.3 (Spanish Ranchera)

Ranchera is part of regional Mexican. There are only 3 or 4 artists recording successful ranchera music today.

99.7- La Mega 99.7 (Spanish - Tropical)

"Tropical" in the US generally means salsa and its related genres. There are no such stations anywhere in the continental US, and only one left in Puerto Rico. It won't work where the audience is 95% Mexican heritage. If you mean "cumbia" that's another format, like reggaetón, that lasted a year or two and is 100% dead.
