Got this email from YouTube TV yesterday with the announcement that no deal could be reached with Major League Baseball to allow continued carriage of its programming. So now, YouTube TV, which has never had the NHL Network, is left with only the NFL and NBA Networks so far as official league channels go. Does anyone have any info on MLB's motivation here other than, I suppose, trying to squeeze substantially more money out of YTTV and its subscribers? Will the NFL and NBA eventually sever ties with YTTV as well?
