Way to go 105.3
You took the best things about your station and gave them the heave ho. You had a good hold (with an exception or two) on talk radio, and you gave it up to be just like every other Sports-Junkie station.

I guess parent-company CBS wasn't happy with their dwindling Stock Prices, and had to drive them to absolute $0. Nice Job. Guess I'll be gettin' satellite for Christmas. Anyone know where Russ Martin/JD Ryan/ Jagger are going?

Jagger will still be there doing morning with the rest of his crew.

I will be getting a satellite radio for x-mas
and back with Howard..
I can NOT do sports 24/7..

For all the Live 105.3 Listeners who keep saying they are "leaving" and "cant do sports all day" They probably dont care because you are no longer in their target audience anyways. KLLI just gave their loyal listeners a Big F-You and hope they can now bring in a new audience

I've been watching, and reading these boards for a while now, and i officially need to join because this just pisses me off more than anything.

just when i thought Ben and Skin were getting decent by adding Sybs and making their show a bit quirky and quicker the station flips.

Do you think alot of people will flip to hear B%S's thoughts on sports over the ESPN's lineup for their drive home? come on?! my drive home now is going to blow dick.

sports 24/7 on 105.3 is worse than having to listen to what they call a radio show from 11-3 with Michael Irving. JUST CRAP.

I am not from DFW. I am a radio DXer. I’d like to know how many sports stations does DFW have now?

There are three (3) sports stations in town now.

From what I hear, B&S will be hanging around as well.

Who's Michael IRVING?? I guess it's safe to assume you don't like sports... Good luck finding a new station to listen to.

Ya know, its good to hear a different format in that slot. All the RMS fans are commiting hari kari due to him being fired, which isnt entirely a bad thing. I'll admit that id rather hear a alternative or rock station on the frequency, but a local FM Sports station isnt bad either. If they decide to simulcast rangers games starting in the spring and go after the cowboys, i'll be fully on-board.

Slam, I really look for Jerry Jones to go with CBS because of the strong FM signal. They'll have me on board with that and NASCAR, plus a possibility of also getting the Dallas Stars.

They just gave the legal ID as "a CBS Sports station" - as opposed to a "CBS Radio" station...

And they promote the fact that "the NFL plays here every weekend." Of course, that'll last only for about a couple more months, unless WW1 can reup the radio contract.

There's a 3rd sports station for one simple reason.

KTCK is one of the 2 highest billing radio stations (along with WBAP) in the market.

KLLI is going where they think the money is...

Westwood One signed a new deal with the NFL before the start of the current season.

Yeesh. The only way this could be less appealing to me is if they replaced it with "SMOOTH JAZZ".

Even non-stop polka and yodeling 24/7 would be better than sports.

Not to mention that their jingles, sweepers, are beyond asinine.

At least there's still KERA. Of course, now that I've let slip that I enjoy THAT too, I'm sure someone somewhere will take over that station and turn it into WKTT.

Ah, so it's kinda like when two stations find out how much one station bills during an all-Christmas stunt, so they, to, go wall-to-wall holiday hits, starting in October!
