I like his show.last month he just did another one year contract at WYSP so he will be there for at least another year :) So if WYSP did that I don't see any changes coming to WYSP anytime soon..

what was the name of that dj who singed a 5 year contract then got fired 3 months after he signed it ?

Was it Barsky, when 96.5 was still 'The Point'? Or maybe it was CBS' 'David Lee Roth Experiment'...

And circle gets the square...

Maybe Barsky was like "CBS ah know you paid me for 5 yeeaahs n 'aything n naow you fire me like 'dis but ah just wanna say- AH jus' wanna KNOCK yo boot!" 'n den he SIT da F* daaoowwn. Sorry I couldn't resist. Its an old Barksy thing from the Y100 days.

Worked and listened in that market and area for a number of years. One of the most inconsistant markets in the country. I've heard some brilliant radio and some garbage radio in Philly. More good than not. Problem is... there is a lot of movement and shuffle of people. Philly loves it's radio people like it's sports teams. If you hit... you can stay forever as long as the station stays consistant...I always thought there were way too many changes for no apparent reason...
