Ruh roh Rorge, Z102's website is under construction. They have to be flipping formats. Why else would they change the webpage?

I can access that, but NOT from www.z102.net
Maybe something IS going on? Maybe a legit website rebuild, maybe a stunt...who knows???

Connors said:Funny how people like to bash Z102 and make negative comments on the station without really knowing the facts. My favorite was the post about KISS-FM soundly beating them and being the "Ratings juggernaut". That's pretty funny, because anyone with access to the market ratings knows that isn't the case. Take Kidd Kraddick away from the station and they are pretty even with Z102. Z102 has been on a steady ratings increase since the new PD got there. As a matter of fact Z102 beat KISS-FM last book in the afternoon persons 18-34, and in middays they are only a share behind in that same demo. The night guy beat KISS-FM at night his first book here. Everybody knows 12+ numbers mean nothing so stop looking at them, advertisers don't. It seems to me KISS-FM sounds more automated and generic as ever with nothing good promotionally on the air this book, while Z102 is actually doing things from a marketing standpoint and making changes to make their station sound better. Have you seen any Clear Channel billboards or TV commercials this book?? Cumulus isn't the greatest broadcasting company out there, but maybe they are finally giving the guys at Z102 what they need to win. We'll see very soon.

I refuse to get into a pissing match, but run Maximizer again... you'll see we doubled Z in W18-34... 10a-Mid... Persons we are 40% higher. I'd love to say more... but why would I want to help Jan Jeffries by telling him the faults of ZAT...

Connors said:Guys, you are missing the point. KISS has been the dominant CHR for a long time in Savannah because they had no competition. Now they aren't as dominant as they were and it looks like Z102 is doing something right because they are gaining ground. Maybe we will finally have a real CHR battle instead of one station winning by default.
