The new owners now have the station and filed a silent notification.

"SHORTLY AFTER EDUCATIONAL RADIO FOUNDATION OF EAST TEXAS, INC. ('ERFET') ACQUIRED KAGZ, AND IN ANTICIPATION OF THE GRANT OF A CONSTRUCTION PERMIT (LMS 0000151316) TO MOVE THE STATION'S TRANSMITTER/ANTENNA TO A NEW SITE, ERFET TURNED THE STATION SILENT. THE CP WAS GRANTED ON AUGUST 11, 2021 AND ERFET IS NOW IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING THE STATION TO THE NEW SITE."

They could do an expansion of their Spanish CCM, Fuzión brand. It will be interesting to see if ERFET tries to expand further into Lufkin/Nacogdoches.

KAGZ is now simulcasting KLJT and KFRO-FM as part of their Spanish CCM "Fuzión" format.

KAGZ has crystal clear sound. Not sure who set their equipment up but they sure did a good job. No distortion.
Only thing is a lot of the songs are in mono not stereo. But that's probably DJ error.
