Z106.7 Mixing Live!!

yeah i heard them preaching that they're the new #1 station in san antonio...interesting

I like it cause there mixing the San Antonio Dance Music that people know down here and I hate the way Mix mixes rock songs to Techno/Dance songs and plus Z was spinning rap, hip hop and reggaeton, usually when the beat mixes reggaeton they go into a commercial but Z went right on threw, its sounding pretty good, Its good news cause the Mix961 show I think is all prerecorded and the Beat Mix show it just all plain Rap/Hip-hop but Z’s tearing it up tonight, I’ve noticed this past 2 weeks that Z spinning more Hip-Hop/Rap and to me its sounding a whole lot better, Hey, this is somewhat some good news..

looks like your talking to me, Im not Rene, I had a account a while back as sadude but just created this new 1 a couple hours ago, I often come threw this site and just read these post and see whats going on, what the rumors are, but just today though I heard the mix show on my way home and thought I'm going to see what people are saying, I saw the topic just getting started so I just made a new account and now just 1 of the first 1's to say anything but on the rene topic i dont even think he is with Z anymore I though he was with Jammin, I know tonight it was m3 mixing and I think it was a different guy on the mic, I dont think it was robbie rob, they where saying something about a new crew member also, I think the show was great its just the reception was a little down, wasnt really as clear but it was still nice to hear a change, so radiodouche, what station you work for?
 
Z has 1 good sounding night and the Cox employees begin to post as if Z is making a major comeback. Well 1 good sounding night in no way shape or form makes up for the years and years of tear-jerking horrible radio. Everyone keeps talking as if Z is changing. Well good, they should because heaven knows they need to do something. But I think it is foolish to continue with the Z name and calls.
 
stickyboots is pre-recorded because they run the same mixes over and over all week...i can hear 1 mix on a friday night and the same exact mix will play the very next night. but being in radio i notice those things...do the listeners notice that? i don't know.

A lot of things in radio are prerecorded. Take Z's Sunday night lame countdown for instance. Case closed.

By the way, the audio quality of Z's mix show was absolutely brutal. It sounded almost as bad as a regular phone line. Just another example of pure stupidity in the Cox building.
 
Why did it take Z nearly 3 years to start mxing now? Why didnt they keep it up when they first fliped? pretty bad, I didnt hear it, I was checking out mix & the beat, I didnt even turn to Z all weekend.

Wow, another stellar performance by Z's group of idiots. I've never heard a mix show sound worse. They had a week to fix their problems and still found a way to F it up. Idiocy is running wild.

Rene, where are your posts about how awesome the show sounds this week?

Thats sad makes you wonder why Sat. radio is growing like it is, I wish FM would go back to the way it was way back when. When Companies big companies did not own them, where they could be themselves do what they wanted. That was when radio was at its best!!
 
Nikki I like Mix but the so called mixes at 11pm on weekdays are off beat plenty of time or not even mixed right. But I like the programming.
Z is also OK, I miss the dance but ok, Rene is not at Z he has been at Jammin for almost 2 years now as welll as M3. And I am glad to see Antro is again doing live broadcasts.

I like some of Sticky boots dance mixes. In regards to the quality of the Z audio that is odd. Antro does have ISDN therefore I would have imagined a zephyr would have been used.
