Yes anohter post on this station>
I dont know, im feeling uneasy, could this station be on the verge of something very soon? Looking online, they didnt have public affairs programming, the TRL countdown, no sure of the jocks too busy to actually listen. Hmm. Next week will be two years, is the end very near?

They fliped at 10/31/03 from Jamz to Z I wonder if they will flip again on that same date or stay longer sooner or nothing happen?

I wish they'd flip it back to the dance format they had the last year or so of "106-7 Jamz". It was one of the best dance stations I had heard. But Cox seems to have given up on dance after dumping it in Orlando, San Antonio, and Miami. Too bad. They did a good job, and "106-7 Jamz" was the best sounding of their 3 dance stations.

Well either that or they could turn into hiphop and not be afraid to play new hiphop and play deeper stuff over the nighttime hours.

I agree with you on the programming. They did a good job with it. But the bottom line is always "The bottom line". Were they able to sell it? Without big cash coming in, most companies will run to the next flavor of the month.

In Tampa Bay, they have a "Classic Rock" station that has had pretty bad numbers
for years. But for some reason, they can sell the poop out of it.

What is odd is in the same building, they have an easy listening station that is #1, 54+, around #16 18-45 and soft sales. But they've stuck with it. I guess because it's automated, except for morning drive, overhead is cheap.<P ID="signature">______________

You all have to realize that Z106 is the red headed step child of cox san antonio. Nothing will ever happen with this station. They are not smart enough. This is coming from someone who worked for the company. Don't waste your time in figuring out what will happen with them.

I do miss the 1067jamz with Dmaq rene g and all but doupt it will ever flip back, freestyle files was great, I miss them. I dont know why COX had to flip over to top 40 all that did was them bringing the playlist down to about 20 or so song playlist. They could of kept the jamz slogan // format and still add more top 40 & hiphop to the list.
