Thats great news,,, Me and about 6 co workers are jammin out to it right now. This means I can get rid of Real Player, since the only reason I had Real was for the Z88.9 stream......
AHHH, still can't get past the firewall here at the office! I have to bounce Hot 96 of a port 80 proxy server just to bypass it. Good ol' CBS corperate...
Brett.....you are perhaps the ONLY Philadelphia area radio station in NYC coming out of a car stereo!
On my phone, I have 9 dance music stations preset in there, including Energy 92-7 and C 89.5. The other stations are streamers (Dance.FM, Music One, iPartyRadio). The only way most of these streams work is either through ShoutCast or, in some cases, Windows Media Player.
Long story short, I had purchased a USB to a female output headphone jack whereas I plugged in my cassette adapter and tuned in to your station in my car!
Maybe corporate has to learn something from this since the only terrestrial stations I've seen on ShoutCast are college stations such as yours as well as non-profits such as WBGO, a public supported jazz station in Newark.
Once again, thank you!
