WBZC Ices The Devils

BURLINGTON COUNTY COLLEGE Top 40/Rhythmic WBZC/PEMBERTON, NJ has become the official station of the TRENTON DEVILS of the AA minors ECHL hockey league. It will provide live broadcast coverage for 24 regular season games, as well as host a TRENTON DEVILS coaches show, “Along the Boards.”

"This is a 'win-win' relationship," OM/PD BRETT HOLCOMB said. "We always welcome the opportunity to extend our outreach to the community and this is a great benefit for our listeners."
 
Brett you should post this in he college board too..it's a great accomplishment you should be very proud. Does the team have their own commentators or are your sudents calling the play by play? I hope it's yor students it would be a great opportunity for Ricky and Bryan...congrats.
 
Congrats to you and your crew. This is an ideal way of getting your brand of music familiar in your market with a not so average target group.

The Devils have their own play by play guy. We will have an opportunity to have someone from our staff do the color part. The students are getting the opportunity to produce the games. This is huge for them, so that they can come out of this with it on their resume.
 
This is great of Burlington and a good oppurtunity for both the students, and the Dance heavy z-88.9.. This is why I love School dance stations.. one of the many reasons.
