Chris at sdradio.net reports that Mike Glickenhaus who was Founder, President and CEO of Finest City Broadcasting and as such the top dog for Z90, 91X and Magic 92.5 has taken a job as a Vice President and Market Manager in Las Vegas.

Question: when did he leave FCB and why? Did the investor partners boot him out or did he actually think being a VP in Vegas is better than being a CEO in San Diego?

Appaently he decided maybe that being unemployed in San Diego is better than living in Vegas. This from the front page of radio-info.com

Mike Glickenhaus makes a quick U-turn - out of Las Vegas

Beasley_Broadcasting_logoOn Monday, Beasley announced that 26-year San Diego radio guy Glickenhaus was leaving the Pacific Ocean behind to take over its five-station cluster in Las Vegas. Today - Beasley says he just resigned, for personal reasons. Brian Beasley says "although this has caught us by surprise...we had several strong candidates to vie for this job." So it's not as if they're starting the Market Manager job search from zero. The cluster includes several stations with recent format changes, including KKLZ, which transitioned from classic rock to classic hits.
