R-E-S-P-E-C-T The Legends
> yea right..give me a break all the old men need to retire
> radio is not for them anymore poor guys
I think we're only kidding here, Mike. I sincerely doubt the "1360 Boys" are gonna take over Z-90 anytime soon. I do agree with you when you say "poor guys". Clearly, you do understand the heritage these gentlemen have given SD radio. However, I'm sorry that you feel as though they don't have a place in today's radio, considering what they were to decades of radio listeners. I know I wouldn't be where I am today without Hare, Greener, Shotgun Tom, Tony "Mad Dog" Maddox, Mason Dixon, Ernie Myers, Jerry G, Ken Copper, Jay Stone, Brian White, Jimi Foxx, and even more recently JoJo Kincaid, Chuck Cannon, and others.
No disrespect intended, Mike. Just please take a minute to remember the guys who inspired you! I'm sure you'll understand where I'm coming from. If you remember KBG when it was on AM, KCBQ when it was downtown and the six tower array in Santee, or XEAK..the original Mighty 690, you'll know what I'm talking about. These guys are legends. Please don't discount who and what they are to our community.
