Is it time for z90 to shift back to rhythmic. I've been listening to kiss fm mainly for the throwbacks, they can keep the rihanna/jt stuff but I still feel they should tailor the music for what was hot in s/d back in the day and not just nationally. Jammin was truly unique imho except for the clear channel era

Jammin Z90 at one time was successful being run by people who really were in touch with their audience, but for a long time now it has been run by people who only know their audience from research data.

I'm in savannah, ga now and my friends are amazed at the blend of hip-hop, r&b, latin, and house music being programmed on one station when I play the old cassettes I recorded back then. Lost most of them which I truly regret to this day.

Z90 has been in the top 10 for some time now. Don't know how wise altering their format would be at the risk of losing their current numbers. May be wiser for Energy to take the plunge as they have been consistently behind Z90 (but they have some sellable numbers right now as well). I wish Kiss would go full blown Rhythmic CHR. Liked what they were doing at first this year, but seems too repetitious, especially the 'currents.' Will see what happens to Kiss next month in their first real book.
