Z93's Breakfuss Club is Back..

Apex's STAR 99.7 [Urban AC] has picked up Tessa and Baby J formely of Cumulus' Z93 JAMZ. The duo will hold down afternoons from 3pm-7pm. This nowputs them in competion with Z93's APD/MD Yonni and MAJIC 107.3's syndicated Michael Baisden. No word on if Geno Jones who currently host aftenoons at STAR is out.
 
Happy for them. Good to see some old-fashioned "talent swap" on the local lever rather than trading personality for syndication/automation

I was thinking the same thing. This would have been the perfect set up to take down Z93.

6am-10am: Steve Harvey Morning Show
10am-2pm: Geno Jones
2pm-6pm: Tessa & Baby-J (Breakfuss Club) also 2pm-6pm on Saturdays
6pm-10pm: Savannah
10pm-3am: Sweat Hotel

Great move, all local except for mornings. Does anyone know if Apex still has some type of contract with Rickey Smiley's Morning Show? Suprised Z93 still doesn't have a morning show since the depature of The Breakfuss Club. Also, mentiosn of Tessa and Baby J are all over Z93's website still. Strange!
