The web address for this new top 40 in Ithaca is z955.net. Saga bought up the .com version and now when you go to www.z955.com it takes you directly to a Hits 103.3's splash page with streaming! Ouch!

Man, you guys play rough!

One reason to tie the URL with the call letters is that it should be unique, and ICANN will normally side with the broadcast station over "poachers".
 
The FCC was already looking at Saga for concentration issues in Ithaca. This can't cast a favorable light with them now using an HD format and a translator to go after a competitor.

They have a bunch of mod apps still in there somewhere....I think it was dismissed over construction technical issues having nothing to do with HD stuff.
