Hard to believe it's been 30 years since I did play by play for the Bulldogs. Some time back I dug up a tape of a broadcast of Zephyrhills baseball that had David Eiland (yes the same Dave Eiland who pitched for the Rays and Yankees) on the mound for the 'Dogs. But was really fascinating was they playing Hernando and Jerome Brown, who went on to become one of the NFL's most feared defensive linemen was playing right field for the Leopards. Memories...

Gerald Newton used to do the play by play for Pasco on WDCF. Even though he was from Dade City, he has a memory like an elephant for all things sports in eastern Pasco County including Z-Hills.
