Zephyr's Grant Morris in the news

Kindof.

Ex-WZRH afternoon DJ Grant M. mentioned in a larger Times-Picayune story re striking New Orleans screenwriters:

http://blog.nola.com/living/2007/12/no_screenwriters_hit_the_stree.html

Grant Morris was working on a screenplay adaptation of a novel. "It's going to be the blockbuster feel-good movie of the summer of 2020," he said, laughing.

Now, "I can't write, which is what I do for a living," Morris added. "I can't talk to the producers who I'm working for. I can't discuss the script with the development executive who I'm working on it with. So I'm effectively paralyzed. I can sit and stare out the window of my house, and that's about it.

"I can't even smoke cigarettes, because I quit.

Could we see a return to 15-minute traffic reports with Grant and Bob Frost? :)
