"Zip" filling in on The Pike

With afternoon guy Frank Foley on vacation this week, it's good to hear Zip (real name Peter Zipfel) filling in this week on 100FM The Pike. Zip was one half of the old Bob and Zip morning show on WAAF back in the early to mid 80s. And I believe Zip was also part of The Pike's previous incarnation.

No clue if this is a freelance thing or if he actually works behind the scenes at the station.

I think it was just a freelance thing. He also occasionally fills in at WCRN when Hank Stolz is on vacation. I believe Zip keeps quite busy with his commercial & voiceover work and doesn't have a great desire to go full time again.
