So how many times did he say, "KTKS, Denton-Dallas-Fort Worth"? Any of Jody's cronies there, or do they all take vacation en masse? Too early to wonder if he's being groomed for mornings at KVIL?
 
Maybe David Eduardo would give us the current 25-54 people rankings for Dallas morning shows?

Call me naive (I have been called worse... in here) but I don't think he would want it. Even though his egoism comes through the air waves in a lustrous display, it almost seems as if he has found a home at the lodging place of Brinkman and Hubcap. Maybe I'm wrong. I just don't see a fit at lite. Thoughts?

Good Lord, you can't be serious! I've hated every moment of it all week! I know he's just filling in for a week, but wow - the chemistry - or lack of it really sucks!

The ladies sound....well....frightened to be in the room.

Every bit I've heard has been 8th grade bathroom humor - and the really stupid, bad kind. I'm sure if Jody is listening, he has to be embarrassed at the ludeness too! It's been very distasteful.

I truely can't wait for Dean to get back!

It's been good to hear Zippo again. When he was with ABC we use to fly him up to West Central Indiana for weekend remotes. He always pulled in the audience and was very friendly on and off the mike, and our sponcers who paid his way were very pleased. Does he still collect movies and live in the same house in Plano with the indoor theater?
 
I thought he was hilarious. DFWPT is obviously a Jody lover and that's ok. It was obvious that Tammy Edwards didn't want to participate and Mitch Carr didn't chime in very much either. Each day has been a little different as far as who has been in the room. Today seemed to be the best mix of personas, plus Jody's people have worked together for years. The Zip Dude was thrown in with them. He's a pro and has handled it beautifully. You didn't expect this to be the same Dean show, did you? As far as bathroom humor, I didn't hear any of that.

Again, Zippo is a great talent in my book...and I think my friend ARB likes him, too.

Was that in response to Jody's ratings and Jody's bathroom humor? I've heard a lot of that...ie. male organ monument. They beat that one to death sorry for the pun.)
 
Personally, I like the Zip Meister. Trying to compare him to JD is dumb. Both have die hard fans. Both become almost cultic or fanantic in their listenership. Any station would be crazy not to take advantage of that.
