No freaking way. Why the hell would they screw with the most successful format that's been on 93.7 in all of its years of existance? It's almost their 5th Anniversary.
Power 104 as the only hip-hop station? *shudders at that thought*. Not with that trash Star & Buc Wild and Wendy Williams on the station.
I won't believe it until I see it in black and white from a reputable source. i.e. R&R, All Access, etc.

I agree....NO WAY! I'll believe it when it happens...and even then I'll think it's a stunt! so that means there would be 3 mainstream CHR's in CT with ZMX, KISS & KC101...yeah that makes sense.
And what Lite 100.5 WRCH is going Jack-FM give me a break Hot 93.7 bills well for CBS Radio Hartford after they flipped it to this sucessful Rhythmic/CHR format.
What is going to happen is KISS-FM 95.7 and 101.3, this just sounds more likely I say.

I'm not talking about a "Jack" type station, I'd just make a better Top 40 station. The selection of music they have is pretty dull and takes too long to add new hits. I could even copy another station's playlist, like CC's own Z100 or maybe Capitol FM from London..and a slightly Americanized version of that would probably work best.

Thats pointless. 95.7's main focus is the metro Hartford area where 101.3's is the New Haven, shoreline area. 95.7 could care as much about New Haven as 101.3 could care about Hartford.
Here is the bottom line, end of topic on this portion. Both stations are making money. Period. If you're making money, why change things? Especially in broadcasting...
