Several people have asked me in the past few days if I knew anything about the local midday show they would be having on the Zone. I hadn't heard a thing, but many of them told me they heard it on a Titans Training Camp commercial. Said the show was going to be called "104-5 the Zone at Work" and it was mentioned as one of the different shows they would be having on the air with information about Titans Training Camp. Apparently they are assuming it's a midday show because of music stations which have "Listen At Work" promotions during middays.
So I finally heard the spot in question this afternoon. Actually there's a statement in the spot that says something about how advertisers can hear "the resources of Titans Radio, 103 WKDF, and 104.5 the Zone at work." So because the prepositional phrase "at work" is separated from the word it modifies, "resources", then this whole rumor is started. Sheesh! I know people would like them to have a local show in middays, but jumping at straws like this is ridiculous.
