Zoomer Radio

There is a station in Toronto at 740 AM that bills itself "Zoomer Radio". If you get a chance look it up and give a listen on the web. Call me crazy, however, this could work here. Their morning guy is Bill Gable of CKLW fame and the rest of the line up comprises of strong personalities and diverse programming. It just sounds so "non-corporate" and fun. Love to hear your opinions.

740 - Toronto is frequently mentioned on both the Toronto and Buffalo radio boards. It is a 50,000 non directional station. (used to be the English language CBC-1) and at night is widely received from Tennessee north to Ohio and over to PA and NY and back down the mid-Atlantic states and North Carolina.

Is that the "Bill Gable-at-your-breakfast-table", that used to be at WOCL Cool 105.9 in Orlando? If so, he did have a nice morning show, and it was fun to listen to back then.

He's part of "the happy gang" at am740. I listen nearly every morning prior to sunrise on my way from Grand Rapids to Muskegon, Michigan.

Outside of am740 and WGN, 720, radio REAKS around here.
