(Part 15 station...)
(both Mark S. of BostonRadioWatch and I noticed that the freq given, 1650 AM,
happens to be Logan Airport Info Radio (which I can get sometimes up here in
Beverly)...so maybe that's a typo (from the paper that once said the Sox
game would be on "WEEI-FM (sic) 850"...) BRW says it's at 1630...
The tiny ZUMIX station, which has been broadcasting for three weeks now, aims to reflect its home base. In terms of what's on air, it swings wildly in its programming, from three hours of jazz (11 a.m.-2 p.m.) to at least three hours of youth issues programming most weekdays, with specialties like the disco oriented ''On the Beat" (Thursdays and Sundays, 6-7 p.m.) or the Latino rock ''Zubterraneo" (weeknights, 9-10 p.m.) filling out the rest of the schedule.<P ID="signature">______________
