Nothing new to report about any of the small AM stations no one listen to.
And this just in from WXCT 990 AM in Southington: Shhhhh. Don't wake 'em up ;D

CT radio isn't boring - WE'RE BORING. there are so many things we can discuss. Will 104.1 get sold - hell, will CBS sell off their Hartford cluster. KC101's morning show gets "best of" by CT Magazine. Will Elvis show up in CT??? Why has CT been able to hold off voice-tracking more than other markets (even top 25 markets have more voice-tracking then we do in CT). How will satellite or internet radio affect our communities when hurricanes strike in the future? What will people listen to to get info on the storm, and WHO will rally citizens together to raise money for aide without local radio?? Has anyone even mentioned Seacrest?? CT radio doesn't suck -we do! There is so much to talk about and I, for one, am absolutely embarrassed that the most this board has to comment on is DRC going back to the Big D103 - or whatever pirate station is around in New Britain.

Voice tracking? I'm pretty sure that's all Clear Channel-owned WHCN-FM ("The River") was for 5 straight days as they did their 80s A to Z list over Labor Day weekend.

I think his point was, yes, we do voicetracking, but it's much less than some other larger markets. We still have live local morning shows, for example. But, bigmax raised some good points for sure.

Bigmax is right on the money. Plus, there's no sense of humor. This board reads like a group of morticians discussing jock-itch at the deep end of the kiddy pool.

Case in point, the Philadelphia board lit up when word got out of the WJJZ format flip. We get nothing here. Hillarious comparison, btw.
