CBC News changes

I share your pain.

Now, next week CBC is changing their news presentation, and local/regional news is moving to 6 PM, under the name "CBC News at 6". Canada Now will still exist as a half-hour national newscast from Vancouver.

The Globe and Mail reports that CBMT and CBXT will NOT be extending local news, contrary to rumours that have been around for awhile.

Trouble is, I thought the CBC had stated that Montreal and Edmonton were getting pilot one-hour news programmes.<P ID="signature">______________
