Fxx

Time Warner still carries Soapnet, or at least it does in the Albany, NY area.

FXX is still in the 600s with all the other sports channels. FS1 and FS2 just happen to be next to each other (665 and 667), but I think that's just a coincidence. Normally I'd say I doubt TW will move FXX to a channel number that makes sense; the local NBC affiliate used to have a weather subchannel that was slotted in the 500s with the other news and weather stations, and when they flipped it to MeTV it stayed put. However, we received a notice a few weeks ago saying that Time Warner was planning a full-scale reshuffling of the lineup. This was before the FS1/FS2/FXX launches and the proposed lineup failed to take those into account, but if they do change all the channels around, I'm sure FXX would be moved next to FX where it belongs.

Received the following from COX support in Phoenix regarding FXX being in the Sports and Info Tier:
"Fox networks made the decision to change Fox Soccer (carried on the Cox Advanced TV Sports & Information Pak) to FXX. Cox is now evaluating the placement of FXX on the line up."

That's basically what they said when I asked on Facebook for Connecticut.

Really? It must only exist online (ALA ESPN 3) because it was dropped from the Comcast lineup the day after the final scheduled broadcast

As a result, Channel 184 (Where it used to sit on) has been empty & no longer listed since

Cheers & 73 :)

To add even more confusion, Comcast Houston still carries SoapNet. Not sure where you're at, Pat, but I would be curious to find out if the reason we still have it is because we have an ABC O&O in the market (KTRK-13) and if the continued carriage of SoapNet is directly related to whatever package retrans deal was worked out between Disney and Comcast.

I think Pat's in Denver. Funnily, I just looked at a bunch of other systems for another project, and the next-largest company where I didn't find SoapNet was Mediacom. In other words, Comcast really looks like they got played for chumps.

I still have SoapNet on Verizon FiOS too here in the Philly area, even this long after Disney Jr. replaced it. Verizon placed Disney Jr. right near all Disney & Nick channels and just left SoapNet where it was. Around here, Disney Jr. actually replaced SoapNet on the Comcast Xfinity lineup taking the spot on the lineup.
